Dow Wire & Cable demonstrated its leadership and commitment to the global wire and cable industry at the WIRE 2008 trade fair in Dusseldorf, Germany from March 31 to April 4. The event, which is the industry's largest global trade fair, attracted 40,700 visitors from 72 countries, and about 2,200 exhibitors including our distributors and key competitors.

Dow Wire & Cable also hosted 85 customers at a special technical conference. Several new products and product development advances also were announced at the show, including solutions that are vital in our growing and changing world for new or refurbished power infrastructure in mature markets and for laying new infrastructure, every day, in developing markets. In addition, WIRE 2008 marked the introduction of HFDB-1492 NT EXP1, a new product for automotive and appliance wire applications.
